About TCS Volleyball
TCS Volleyball is a program of the Austin-based non-profit, Total City Sports. Total City Sports has been actively involved in Austin’s youth sports culture since 2009 through an all-sports summer camp and sport-specific clinics. TCS Volleyball provides premier athletic coaching and exposure to high level volleyball competition at an affordable cost. In addition, TCS coaches are Christ-centered in their approach to the mentoring and tutoring relationship between coaches and players.
Coaching Staff
Lesley Heard, Club Director, TCS 17 Black Head Coach, 14 Black Head Coach
Lesley was a two-year letter winner at Texas State University and helped lead her team to a Southland Conference Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance in 2004. She was Co-President of the Texas State Student Athletic Advisory Council, won the Oak Farms Dairy Academic Achievement Award as a freshman, and was on the Capital One Bank Commissioners Honor Roll. Lesley transferred to the University of Texas and was a member of the NIRSA Division 1 National Championship club volleyball team in 2007 and 2008 finalist. In 2008, she was awarded NIRSA Division 1 First Team All-American.
Her coaching experience includes University of Texas Volleyball Camps (2007-2010), University of Texas Men’s club team (2006), TCS Camp (2009-2011), TCS Clinics, and numerous private volleyball lessons. IMPACT Certified. CAP Level 1 Certification in process.
Kate Terry, Program Coordinator
Kate brings depth to both the Total City Sports organization and TCS Volleyball coaching staff as the TCS Program Coordinator. Over the years, Kate has received accolades in numerous sports, including volleyball, basketball, softball and soccer and has coached various sports through T Bar M Camps. Kate began coaching volleyball with TCS in the summer of 2011. IMPACT Certified.
Geanine Gregory, TCS 17 Black Assistant Coach
Geanine is a veteran volleyball player, having played for the Texas State University club team from 2004-2007 and San Antonio Community College from 2001-2003. She continues to play competitively as an adult for ATX Club Volleyball. Geanine has been an integral member of the TCS coaching staff since 2010 as a volleyball coach at TCS Summer camps. IMPACT Certified.
Aubrey West, TCS 17 Orange Head Coach, 15 Black Co-Head Coach
Aubrey was a three-year letter winner at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, where she was also awarded Academic All-Conference. She has extensive coaching experience that includes Texas A&M University-Kingsville summer camps, Southwest Texas University Women’s Club Volleyball team, and high school summer programs. Aubrey began coaching with TCS Volleyball in the summer of 2010 and has been a key member of the coaching staff ever since. IMPACT Certified.
